Chinese Canton Enamel Ewer, Qianlong Period (1736–1795), melon-shaped with tall loop handle. Vivid famille rose floral panels on lavender-blue scroll ground, 21.6 cm high. Illustrated in Chinese Painted Enamels by Michael Gillingham, Ashmolean Museum, 1978, no. 69, p. 60.
